OC-VietAmMD is a working middle-aged, single mom of a Tiger son, AND an old-fashion doctor who still makes housecalls. She is also a social entrepreneur who offers innovative telehealth consults, regardless of health insurance coverage. She practices zen buddhism, writes creatively and critically, and lobbies for more equitable, accessible healthcare for ethnic minority patients and communities. In her spare time, she cooks, hosts creative parties and loves to travel to explore new eats and cultures. She deeply believes that "by fully appreciate a country's ethnic food, she will be better able to understand its history, socio-economics and peoples.
